At Anonymous Wraps, it isn’t just about one wrapper but the community as a whole. That is why I am continually improving the space to be as professional as possible while providing other wrappers, and tinters in the area a place to centralize their operations. When I first started learning to wrap I would have given anything for a garage to work out of as needed.
You are wondering why you should rent garage time at Anonymous Wraps? What do you gain from renting this space?
I am looking to connect with current and future installers who want a consistent place to work and grow. I am not just renting time and space, I am building a hub for wrappers, and tinters to network and build together.
Networking & Professionalism
Bring your client to a clean and well-lit professional environment. This is also an opportunity to connect with other local installers. I myself do work for other sign shops as well at times and have even hired other installers to lend me a hand on some projects. If you would like to see some of my work, I do commercial work under 30/25 Signs & Designs.
Protection from the elements
Nobody should have to worry about getting sunburnt, or fighting wind, pollen, rain, snow, or whatever mother nature decides to throw any given day. No more working in parking lots worrying about the clouds while getting sunburnt or looking for a shady spot b/c it’s too hot and the vinyl is too soft. These are all things that can break future installers early on.
Professional Lighting
Professional quality hex lighting to simulate daylight conditions. Better lighting can only lend to the quality of your installation. As time progresses, I will improve the lighting even further in hopes to make it more photogenic for social media posts.
Climate Control
No more having to watch the weather app to schedule your installations. Heat for the cold days and cold for the hot days.
No long-term commitment
Not everyone wants to rent a garage for an entire month, and most landlords require you to sign a lease committing to a specific minimal number of months, up to a year or more even.
Flexible Scheduling
Multiple time slots available. 10AM – 12AM, 7 days a week (excluding certain holidays)
Security
Both the inside of the garage and the outside are equipped with 24/7 video surveillance that is recorded and stored. Because of my own background in security I also understand the necessity of security and privacy. As such I will not release, sell, or disclose any recorded video without the clients direct consent or a warrant issued by a court of competent jurisdiction. Additionally, there is a guard dog on the premises.
Basic tools
While it is encouraged for you to buy and bring your own tools, I understand that not everyone understands just what tools they really need. Currently, I am simply asking installers to replace any consumables they use at this time, however, I am working on a more permanent solution that will allow wrappers to buy tools as needed.
Tool Recommendations:
While it is agreed that every installer needs a heat gun, squeegee, and blade, the type and quality of each as well as additional tools are not always clear to everyone.
Heat Gun = Adjustable temp with a hi/lo switch
Squeegee = Hard squeegees are good for flat surfaces, but soft squeegees are good for complex surfaces. Additionally, felt buffers for easy flow.
Blade = Since this isn’t tint, it doesn’t need to be OLFA (although it doesn’t hurt if you plan on doing tint also). Ideally, breakaway, replaceable, 60˚ blades.
Wrap Glove = This is a game changer for any wrapper and what is now considered an essential tool. Not all wrap gloves are equal.
Cleaners = I recommend buying a bottle of 90% Isopropyl alcohol, you will mix this with purified (bottled) water. Add some adhesive remover, and a soap solution that can be used to clean up the adhesive remover and double as a slip solution for your squeegee. There are 3 types of cleaners in this field.
